Free tutoring
The program is sponsored by No Child Left Behind. It’s called Supplemental Educational Services, which is a fancy name for free tutoring.
Millions of dollars are allocated by our wonderful federal government annually to assist low income low achieving students attending Title 1 schools in needs improvement status with their educational needs.
Requirements:
Students must recieve Free or Reduced Lunch
School must be Title 1
School must be in Needs Improvement Status
Sadly most parents don’t know the SES or Free Tutoring program exist.
Overview
Students are provided a personal LAP-TOP COMPUTER with internet access to recieve web based instructions. Students are required to complete a minimum of 30 hours of tutoring.
